Clegg also commented on the issue that an athlete from Ukraine refused to rotate in the direction of the Russian flag while the Russian national anthem was being played during the awarding ceremony yesterday.

Clegg said he would take a vacation after the closing ceremony of the first European Games. “I think many people will agree that I have the right to go on vocation. Azerbaijan played a great role in my life. Over the last 18 months, Baku became the second home for me and my family. Azerbaijan is a great country, it has a bright future”.
