The latest round of consular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan was held in Baku, press service of Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA reports.
The Azerbaijani delegation at the consultations held on October 7 was led by Emil Safarov, Head of the Consular Department, while the Uzbek delegation was led by Abduvakhit Tursunov, Deputy Head of the Consular and Legal Department.
Representatives from Azerbaijan's Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Science and Education, State Migration Service, and State Border Service, as well as the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Azerbaijan, participated in the meeting.
During the consultations, the current state and prospects for the development of consular cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
