Apasport.az reports that Azerbaijani athlete Albert Salimov (60 kg) competed with Sin Mccomb (Ireland) in semifinals and defeated him with the score of 3:0 (29:28; 30:27; 29:28). In the final, Salimov will compete with Sofiane Oumiha (France).
Perviz Baghirov (69 kg) fought against British athlete Josh Kelly in semifinals and defeated him (3:0 – 29:28, 30:27, 30:27).
Khaybula Musalov (75 kg) fought against Zoltan Harks (Hungary) in semifinals and advanced to final defeating his competitor with the score of 2:1 (29:28, 29:28, 27:30). He will fight in the final against Michael O'Reilly (Ireland).
Azerbaijani boxer Abdulgadir Abdullayev, (91 kg) competed with Sadam Magemedov (Russia) in semifinals and defeated him.
Azerbaijani boxer Lorenzo Sotomayoru (64 kg) and Elvin Memishzade (52 kg) will compete in finals today.
