The competition of synchronized swimmers started at 09:00am at the Baku Aquatics Center, Apasport.az reported.
The swimmers, executing free exercises at the qualification stage, will be the first athletes to compete in the European Games.
20 pairs will compete in the Center’s pool. The winners will qualify for the final stage that will take place on June 15.
The first athletes to compete in the tournament will be Belarus pair Hanna Shulhina and Dominika Tsyplakova. They will be followed by athletes from Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Spain, the Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey and Ukraine.
The Azerbaijani pair Nikitina Tatyana and Valiulina Yekaterina will compete in the 10th place. Our athletes will followed by pairs from the UK, Austria, Liechtenstein, Greece, Switzerland, France, Bulgaria, Israel, the Netherlands and Italy.
