“However, the candidate countries were not announced. I discussed this issue with Mr. Hickey. I think the issue will soon be concretized. However, the candidate’s being a Western and Eastern Europe’s country is not a priority. The main thing is its being a new city and promoting sport”, he said.
The minister said that an agreement was reached with the European Olympic Committee regarding free presentation of all documents and guidelines related to European Games for next host country.
“We collect all materials to present to the next host country. We had a lot of innovations regarding the technology. We will be pleased to present them to other cities. We will support the European Olympic Committee relying on the work of the committee”, added the minister.
