Azerbaijan’s men’s national chess team beats Armenian team

In the seventh round of the Olympiad, Gadir Huseyinov beat Arman Pashikyan, and Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Rauf Mammadov and Teymur Rajabov drew with Levon Aronian, Gabriel Sargsyan and Vladimir Hakobyan respectively.
Azerbaijan increased the number of points to eight. Women’s national team of Azerbaijan lost to Greece with a score of 1.5:2.5.
The Chess Olympiad was attended by a record number of teams:159 male and 119 female. In the last two Olympiads (2006, 2008), Armenia won gold medals.
