The “Forte Bello,” “Zafferano,” and “Edoko” restaurants in Moscow’s Aviapark mall, owned by Azerbaijani businessman Emin Agalarov, have been closed, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Local Telegram channels shared information about the closure of the three restaurants in Aviapark.
According to the press service of Agalarov Development, the restaurants were closed due to AgalarovRest’s plans to focus on independent projects.
“As part of AgalarovRest’s current strategy, the company is shifting its focus from establishments located in shopping malls to independent projects,” the company said.
According to Yevgeniya Khakberdiyeva, regional director of NF Group’s retail real estate department, restaurants associated with Emin Agalarov have been closed not only in Aviapark but also in other locations.
“The main reason is that these establishments were less profitable. They operated in the mid- and high-end segments, where audiences expect constant updates to concepts, services, and offerings. This has not happened in recent years, so the projects naturally concluded, even though they lasted longer than many competitors’ establishments,” Khakberdiyeva explained.
