Paid traffic zones will be established in Baku, APA reports.
This is reflected in the Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev titled “On certain measures to improve the field of regular passenger transportation by road.”
The Cabinet of Ministers must prepare its proposals regarding the paid traffic zones in the administrative territory of Baku city and the amount of the fee for vehicles entering these zones within three months and submit them to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The fee paid for vehicles entering the designated paid traffic zones in the administrative territory of Baku city will be one of the funding sources for the “Public Transport” Targeted Budget Fund.
