The construction of the 100-megawatt Gobustan solar power plant will officially start in the near future, said Chinese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Lu Mei at today's briefing, APA reports.
According to her, the production of electric buses will begin in Azerbaijan in the near future: "The construction of the 240-MW Khizi-Absheron wind power plant, which is the largest wind energy project in Azerbaijan, is being successfully implemented. A Chinese company is also participating in its construction. After the auction invested by China, the construction of Azerbaijan’s first renewable energy project – the 100-megawatt Gobustan Solar Power Plant – will officially begin in the near future. As a result of joint efforts, the production of electric buses in Azerbaijan is also expected to start in the near future."
