Azerbaijan, Belarus to set up tractor joint venture

Baku. Nicat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Gandja Auto Plant and Minsk Tractors Plant are negotiating on the establishment of a joint venture for producing tractors in Azerbaijan.
Kamran Nazarov, deputy director of Gandja Auto Plant, said the joint venture will be at a capacity of 8 000 to 10 000 tractors a year.
The tractors will be exported to Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Southern Russia.
