Ömer Çelik: The only word that describes the relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan is brotherhood

There is no question of any political tension between Türkiye and Azerbaijan, Ömer Çelik, Deputy Chairman and Spokesperson for Türkiye's ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party), said while responding to a question regarding allegations of recent tension between Türkiye and Azerbaijan.

Recalling the "Two states, one nation" principle, Ömer Çelik noted that the two countries might have different issues on their domestic and foreign policy agendas:

"We are truly bound to one another based on this principle. Naturally, each side may have a distinct domestic political agenda and different approaches to domestic and foreign policy. Even when differences of opinion arise regarding these matters, as two fraternal countries, we talk, share everything openly, and move forward."
