Elman Rustamov lags in World’s Central Bankers 2016

Azerbaijani Central Banker Elman Rustamov earned D grade while he had earned C grade in the World’s Central Bankers 2015. Moreover, the magazine included Azerbaijan in the list of Asian countries. Rustamov is the banker earning the lowest grade in the region. Best banker of the region is Philippines' central bank Governor Amando Tetangco.

 

Central bankers of Australia, Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Vietnam and India have not earned grades.

 

The heads of the Central Banks with the grade of A are: Karnit Flug (Israel),Riad Salamé (Lebanon), Carlos Fernández Valdovinos (Paraguay), Julio Velarde Flores (Peru), Amando Tetangco Jr. (the Philippines), Elvira Nabiullina (Russia), Fai-Nan Perng (Taiwan) and Mark Carney (the United Kingdom).  

 

In addition, the Central Bankers of Jordan (Ziad Fariz), Mexico (Agustín Carstens), Morocco (Abdellatif Jouahri) and the United States (Janet Yellen) earned “A-” grades.
