Armenia is not certain that it is necessary to appoint a new special representative for the normalization of relations with Türkiye, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan told journalists, Sputnik Armenia said, APA reports.
He noted that the border between the two countries could be opened before the sides agree on the candidacies of new special representatives.
According to Mirzoyan, the process of normalizing Armenia-Türkiye relations has matured to such an extent that a final and full settlement could be achieved at any moment.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that Armenia and Türkiye are in contact almost every day.
Mirzoyan also announced that an Armenia-Türkiye business forum would be held in Armenia in the near future.
It should be noted that Ruben Rubinyan no longer serves as Armenia’s special representative in the normalization process with Türkiye because he was elected Speaker of the Armenian Parliament.
