“As Texnikabank was declared bankrupt, Alfa Insurance’s financial situation has become more critical. At the same time, non-prudential activity of managing bodies of the company and abnormal insuring experience resulted in deterioration of financial condition”, said in the statement by the Authority.
In order to prevent increase of liabilities of the insurer and transfer of risks to the system, the company has been withdrawn from the membership of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau since April 2016 and asset sale has been prevented.
