Treasury account revenues bring AZN 120 Million to state budget this year

In order to more effectively manage state budget funds and attract additional revenues to the budget, active management of the balance of the unified treasury account has begun since April 2025, APA-Economics reports.

This was stated at the collegium meeting of the Ministry of Finance.

It was noted that within this framework, the placement of funds in the national currency in local banks as deposits and the calculation of interest income on the balance of the correspondent account in US dollars based on an agreement signed with the Central Bank have been ensured. As a result, from April to December, a total of 119.4 million manat of additional revenue was transferred to the state budget, including 98.6 million manat from deposits placed in commercial banks and 20.8 million manat from the balance of the correspondent account in US dollars at the Central Bank.
