As of January 1, 2026, the total investment portfolio of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) amounted to 73 billion 539.7 million US dollars, APA-Economics reports.
38.2% of the total investment portfolio is gold, 29.8% is bonds and money market instruments, 25.6% is stocks, and 6.4% is real estate.
Note that as of January 1 of this year, 25.9% of the investment portfolio was concentrated in Europe, 23.9% in North America, 8% in Asia, 1.4% in the Middle East, 0.9% in Australia, and 0.1% in South America.
The total investment portfolio of SOFAZ increased by 22.5% or 13 billion 510.2 million US dollars compared to the beginning of last year.
