In 2025, investments in fixed capital in Azerbaijan amounted to 21,226.1 million manat, or 5.6 percent less than in 2024, the State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics.
It was noted that investment directed to the oil and gas sector decreased by 10.3 percent, while investment in the non-oil and gas sector fell by 3.9 percent. Of the total investment utilized, 10,972.1 million manats, or 51.7 percent, were allocated to goods-producing sectors, 7,179.6 million manats (33.8 percent) to the service sector, and 3,074.4 million manats (14.5 percent) to housing construction.
Domestic investment accounted for 17,023.0 million manats, or 80.2 percent, of total investment in fixed capital. Of the investments directed to fixed capital, 16,018.3 million manats, or 75.5 percent, were spent directly on construction and installation works.
