Last year, money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia amounted to 40.2 million US dollars, APA’s local bureau reports, citing the report of the National Bank of Georgia.
The volume of transfers decreased by 3.53 million US dollars, or 8.07%, in an annual comparison.
During the reporting year, 65.92 million US dollars were transferred from Georgia to Azerbaijan, which is 36.4% higher than the same figure in 2024.
The largest amount of money transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia was recorded in April, totaling 3.98 million US dollars. The highest transfers from Georgia to Azerbaijan, amounting to 6.95 million US dollars, were recorded in October.
