As of December 1, 2025, total credit investments to Azerbaijan’s economy (banks and non-bank institutions combined) amounted to 31 billion 451.1 million manats, APA-Economics reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Compared to November 1, 2024, credit investments to the economy increased by 8.2%, or 2 billion 384.3 million manats.
Note that during this period, credit investments issued by state-owned banks amounted to 7 billion 635.2 million manats, by private banks to 22 billion 50.3 million manats, and by non-bank credit organizations to 1 billion 765.5 million manats.
Recall that as of the reporting date, the volume of banks’ loan portfolios totaled 29 billion 685.5 million manats, of which 15 billion 804.8 million manats were business loans, 9 billion 318.8 million manats were consumer loans, and 4 billion 561.9 million manats were mortgage loans.
