Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to 9.4 billion US dollars in the first quarter of this year, APA reports, citing the State Customs Committee.
This is 22% lower compared to the same period of 2025.
During the reporting period, exports decreased by 15.6% to 5.4 billion US dollars. Imports also declined by 29.3% to 4 billion US dollars.
Last year, the positive balance of foreign trade nearly doubled, reaching 1.39 billion US dollars.
