In January-September 2023, direct investments from Azerbaijan to the foreign economy amounted to 2 billion 691.9 million dollars, APA-Economics reports citing Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Volume of investments increased by 3.6 times or 1.9 billion dollars compared to corresponding period of last year. Thus, in the corresponding period of 2022, the volume of direct investments directed to the foreign economy in Azerbaijan amounted to 759.1 million dollars.
Noted that the most direct investment from Azerbaijan was invested in the economy of Türkiye. During the reporting period, 1 billion 760.2 million dollars were invested in Türkiye from Azerbaijan, which is 20 times more than the year.
