“Determining the fate of missing persons is an important condition for sustainable peace,” Chief of Azerbaijan’s State Security Service, Colonel General Ali Naghiyev, said at the Fourth International Conference held in Azerbaijan within the framework of the Baku Dialogue on Missing Persons, APA reports.
He said the aim is to bring together the experience of states and international organizations: “Since 1988, Armenia’s occupation policy has had severe consequences for our people. Although the war has ended, families of missing persons continue to wait,” he said.
