In January-November of this year, 1 billion 365.4 million manats of insurance premiums were collected through 16 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This is 11.7% more than in the same period last year.
The amount of payments made by insurance companies during the reporting period amounted to 844.8 million manats. This figure is 21.7% more than in the previous year.
Note that for every 100 manats of insurance premiums collected in the insurance market during the 11 months, 61.9 manats were paid. In the same period last year, this figure was 56.8 manats.
