The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has stopped publishing the exchange rate of the Bulgarian lev, the CBA said in response to an inquiry from APA-Economics.
As of January 1, 2026, the euro has been introduced as the official currency of the Republic of Bulgaria in connection with the country’s accession to the eurozone.
It was noted that, accordingly, as of January 5, 2026, the Bulgarian lev has been removed from the list of official exchange rates published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
