Another Collegium meeting was held under the leadership of Vugar Gulmammadov, Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Accounts Chamber told APA-Economics.
According to the information, the meeting discussed the opinion of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the draft 2026 budget of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ).
It was noted that the opinion assessed the justification of the projected revenue and expenditure figures, as well as the compliance of the draft budget—including the investment policy to be implemented by the Fund next year—with relevant legal acts. Based on the analyses conducted, recommendations were provided at the end of the opinion.
As a result of the discussions, a decision was made to approve the opinion and send it to the relevant parties.
At the Collegium meeting, the “Draft Work Plan of the Accounts Chamber for 2026” was also discussed. The Work Plan reflects external state financial control measures and other activities. As a result of the discussions, a decision was made to approve the Work Plan.
