In January-November of this year, a total of 292 million 704.3 thousand manats were returned to individuals and legal entities from the state budget, the Ministry of Finance told APA-Economics.
The refunded funds relate to the reimbursement of value-added tax (VAT) paid by foreigners for the purchase of goods produced within the country that are not intended for commercial purposes, as well as for payments made by individuals in the areas of retail trade and public catering, cultural services (theater, cinema, museums, concerts), medical services, and hotel services in the territories liberated from occupation.
In addition, VAT paid for residential and non-residential premises purchased in cash from persons engaged in building construction activities, as well as other taxes, state fees, interest, and financial sanctions that have already been paid, were also returned to citizens.
