The World Bank has revised its forecast for the average price of Brent crude oil for 2026–2027, APA-Economics reports, citing the bank’s April outlook.
The average price of Brent crude is projected at $86 per barrel in 2026 (which is $26 higher than the previous forecast) and $70 in 2027 (previous forecast – $65).
According to the World Bank’s calculations, the average price of Brent stood at $69 in 2025.
Thus, Brent crude is expected to increase by 24.6% year-on-year in 2026 and decrease by 18.6% in 2027.
