The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the Department of Energy has updated its forecast for Azerbaijan's average daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons for 2026-2027, APA-Economics reports, citing the EIA's monthly report.
Average daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons in the country is expected to stand at 520,000 barrels in 2027, which is 20,000 barrels lower than the previous forecast.
According to the EIA's estimates, Azerbaijan's daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons will amount to 550,000 barrels in 2026 (previous forecast: 540,000 barrels).
Based on the report, the figure stood at 570,000 barrels in Azerbaijan in 2025. In 2024, Azerbaijan's daily production of oil and other liquid hydrocarbons amounted to 600,000 barrels.
