In January-April of this year, Azerbaijan’s non-oil sector exports (excluding non-monetary gold) increased by 13% compared to the corresponding period of 2025 and amounted to $1.1 billion, APA-Economics reports citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC).
In January-April of the current year, exports of sugar increased 4 times, cotton yarn 2.3 times, vegetable and animal fats and oils 71%, cotton fiber 49.9%, fruits and vegetables 22.1%, aluminum and products made from it 32.2%, tea 12.1%, and alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages 9.4% compared to the corresponding period of last year.
In January-April 2026, exports of agricultural products increased by 28.3% to $298.3 million, while exports of agro-industrial products increased by 31.6% to $119 million. Overall, combined exports of agricultural and agro-industrial products increased by 29.1% to $417.3 million.
