Azerbaijan, bp sign two memorandums of understanding

Two documents were signed within the framework of the planned two-day working visit to Azerbaijan by Meg O’Neill, Chief Executive Officer of bp, and Gordon Birrell, the company’s Executive Vice President for Production and Operations, the company told APA-Economics.

Two Memorandums of Understanding were signed as part of the meeting with the participation of Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Meg O’Neill.

- Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and bp regarding the high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure currently being established under the leadership of the Ministry;

- Memorandum of Understanding between SOCAR and bp on promoting, further strengthening and expanding long-term cooperation in the energy sector.
