A symposium entitled "Nizami Ganjavi heritage the 21st century" and an opening ceremony of an exhibition dedicated to works of Nizami have been held with support of Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture, and the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, APA reports.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov said that Nizami Ganjavi's works are kept in most libraries around the world, translated into different languages. According to him, Nizami Ganjavi's heritage should be preserved and passed on to future generations: "It is no coincidence that his works allow us to write the formula of the meaning of life. We should be proud that we have such great personalities. We must preserve Nizami's legacy and deliver it to future generations.
This is the main purpose of this symposium."
