“I propose that the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev be presented as a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize award,” said Chingiz Abdullayev, the Deputy chairman of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers, the People’s Writer during the conference titled “Lessons of the road to the Nobel Prize: myth, realities, successes and challenges”, APA reports.
“They gave the award to Barack Obama without him doing anything. We did not shoot or harm a single child or woman in our righteous war. This was the result of Ilham Aliyev's policy,” – he noted.
