"Last year, Armenians demonstrated carpets, which were illegally taken by them from Shusha, in Yerevan, even they shamelessly stated that the carpets were taken from Shusha," Minister of Culture Anar Karimov told journalists, APA reports.
Minister said that a statement was issued in this regard immediately at that time: "We also addressed to UNESCO. The carpets, were proven to be Karabakh carpets with facts. Unfortunately, international organizations, especially UNESCO do not take concrete steps on the issue. It shows UNESCO's being a politicized organization. But it does not mean we will stop. Although return of these carpets to Azerbaijan is now impossible, we want the illegal issue to be condemned."
