Azerbaijan’s Culture Ministry prepared report on carpets taken out of Shusha by Armenians, and submitted it to MFA

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Culture has prepared a detailed report on carpets taken out of Shusha by Armenians on November 1, 2020, and submitted it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture told APA.

It was noted that on February 20 last year an exhibition consisting of those carpets was organized in National Architectural Museum-Institute of Armenia named after A. Tamanyan: “It was claimed that carpets were exhibited in carpet museum operating in Shusha since in 2011, and belonged to the personal collection of the Armenian collector, the founder of the museum. In this regard, Expert Commission of the Ministry of Culture operating in Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum has prepared a detailed reports on carpets demonstrated in the mentioned exhibiton, and submitted them to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”
