Minister comments on arrest of Azerbaijani music teacher in Ardabil

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. â€œI am aware of the arrest of Azerbaijani music teacher in Ardabil. Azerbaijanâ€™s Foreign Ministry is investigating the case. I do not know more,â€ Culture and Tourism Minister Abulfas Garayev told APA. The minister considers that this case should not influence Azerbaijan-Iran relations.
â€œThis problem should be viewed separately from the relations between the two countries, because mutual relations between Azerbaijan and Iran in various spheres, including culture are strengthening. We have also reached agreement to hold mutually culture days next year. This problem should be clarified and should not influence the relations between the two countries,â€ he said.

Official agency of Iran IRNA reported that Azerbaijani music teacher had been arrested. The name of the teacher is not publicized. It is not known either when the music teacher was arrested. He was reportedly accused of promoting foreign culture and music in Ardabil.
