Heydar Aliyev Foundation presents new publications of â€œAzerbaijani Mughamsâ€ project - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. Heydar Aliyev Foundation presented new publications within the â€œAzerbaijani Mughamsâ€ project. President of the Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva said 8-disk â€œAzerbaijani Mughamâ€ multimedia collection was the first training appliance on mugham and manual for mugham teachers and masters. â€œNo manual can replace active communication, secrets of performance are irreplaceable and active communication and contacts are necessaryâ€, said Mehriban Aliyeva and added that art of Mugham saved its special place in Azerbaijan.

The second project entitled â€œWorld of Mughamâ€ describes First International Mugham Festival held in Baku this year and it contains 33 disks. â€œThis festival once again proved that Mugham is the national wealth of Azerbaijan, pearl of the world music treasure, mugham is unlimited space and its capital is Bakuâ€. Mehriban Aliyeva said the Second International Mugham Festival would be held in Baku in 2011.

Chairwoman of the Composers Union Firangiz Alizadeh called the presented projects very important projects. She called mugham an unavailable peak and said it needed to begin preparations for the Second Mugham Festival right now. â€œIt will be more difficult to hold this event because we presented brilliant pieces and now we need to show new ones and it demands new design, new direction, new music and new synthesisâ€.

Popular mugham singer Arif Babayev highly appreciated the care for mugham. He said earlier young singers had no such opportunities. â€œIt is great and estimable work to tape voices of Karabakh singers and to present it to the peopleâ€. Arif Babayev called the establishment of Mugham Center as very important event. â€œThere are busts of well-known singers at the center. I wish to living mugham masters to have busts there while aliveâ€.

Winner of First International Mugham Festival Tayyar Bayramov expressed gratitude to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and president of Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the opportunities and conditions created for young mugham singers. â€œThe festival proved that Azerbaijani mugham is richer and more profoundâ€.

Then documentary â€œAzerbaijani Mughamâ€ was shown at the event.
