A media tour has been organized to the Hadrut settlement of the Khojavend district, APA reports.
The press secretary of the Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, Leyla Sarabi, informed journalists that large-scale landscaping and construction projects are being implemented in the Hadrut settlement, and work in this direction is currently ongoing:
"Hadrut junction substation and Digital Management Center, a new military unit, and the Fuzuli-Hadrut highway with a total length of 12.5 kilometers have been put into operation, a transformer station has been built, existing power lines have been restored, 8 water reservoirs have been repaired, new water, sewage, and gas lines have been laid, and repair work has been carried out on internal roads of the settlement. Essential social infrastructure, including a hotel, trade, and public catering facilities, has been established in the settlement."
It was also noted that there are a total of 541 houses in the Hadrut settlement, of which 462 are uninhabitable and 79 are partially habitable. Out of these houses, 10 are already ready for use. All partially habitable houses will be restored by the end of the year.
Currently, 10 families, a total of 41 people, have returned to their ancestral homeland, Hadrut.
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the Hadrut settlement of the Khojavend district on September 14.
