International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi's visit to the Russian-occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was postponed, the plant's director Yuriy Chernichuk told Russian Vesti on Thursday, APA reports.
According to Chernichuk, Grossi was supposed to arrive "in just a few hours," today. "Unfortunately—or fortunately, I'm not sure—the visit never took place. It was probably unfortunate, because we had something to show him, the consequences of the enemy's actions," he said.
Chernichuk revealed that "security concerns" were cited as the reason for postponement, with the new date of the visit still unknown.
