US authorities have imposed restrictions on 10 individuals for financially supporting the Shiite organization Hezbollah, it was announced in a statement by the US Treasury Department, APA reports.
As specified in the document, the agency "has sanctioned 10 individuals who are part of a network responsible for transferring funds to Hezbollah." According to the document, "this network uses couriers who fly commercial flights between Lebanon, Türkiye, the UAE, and Iran to transfer hundreds of millions of dollars." According to the American side, this allows Hezbollah "to obtain currency and evade sanctions."
