During 2026–2030, it is planned to prepare a strategy and action plan for the development of health tourism in Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
This is reflected in the Action Plan of the “State Program for the Development of Tourism in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026–2030,” approved by the Presidential Order dated August 20, 2026.
In this regard, the Ministry of Health, as the main implementing body, will prepare the strategy and action plan together with other implementing bodies (the State Tourism Agency and TABIB).
Subsequently, it is planned to coordinate and approve the strategy and action plan and, ultimately, implement them.
