“I want to thank my Azerbaijani friends and counterparts for the perfect conditions created for our athletes. Prior to the Games, we had wondered how the Games would be organized and held, based on our Sochi experience. The Athletes Village and the transportation logistics serve athletes’ comfort. My Azerbaijani counterparts have managed to create such comfort for both athletes and spectators. I think this experience may be useful for other countries, too,” said the president’s aide.
