Russian athlete Kirill Gregorian, the gold medalist in men’s pistol shooting at 50m distance in World Cup competitions in Olympic shooting being held at Gabala Archery and Trap Shooting Complex, told the aforesaid in an interview to APA.
He emphasized the high-level organization of this competition in Gabala and the kindness of the place. “The people are very hospitable, and the place has many sightseeing. Gabala really surprised me. Such a small city far from the capital attracted my attention with its modernity. Modern social facilities, hotels, recreation centers and sports facilities show that the city will develop further and faster. The shooting center is one of few modern complexes in world. Azerbaijan is capable of hosting Summer Olympic Games in future. "
