The Treaty on Allied Relations has elevated Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan relations to the highest level, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said during his speech at the SCO Plus meeting, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Bishkek reports.
“First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic for the invitation and hospitality. I am pleased to visit brotherly Kyrgyzstan again. A month ago, during my state visit, the Treaty on Allied Relations was signed. This historic document has elevated relations between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan to the highest level.
Taking this opportunity, I would like to congratulate the President and the people of Kyrgyzstan on the country’s achievements in socio-economic development and the strengthening of its standing in the international arena. Kyrgyzstan’s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for 2027–2028 is an indication of the international community’s support for the policy pursued by Kyrgyzstan,” the head of state noted.
