A meeting was held between President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on September 1, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Bishkek reports.
During the conversation, it was emphasized that Azerbaijan-Türkiye bilateral relations are based on brotherhood and strategic alliance, and satisfaction was expressed with the further expansion of ties in all areas.
It was particularly noted that, in accordance with the “One nation, two states” principle, the two countries have always stood by each other in both good and difficult times.
The meeting included an exchange of views on further strengthening regional peace and stability.
The heads of state also discussed the prospects for the allied relations between the two countries, the regional agenda and other issues of mutual interest.
