Much of the US effort in the conflict with Iran is currently focused on ensuring free passage for ships through the Strait of Hormuz, according to US Vice President J.D. Vance, APA reports citing Fox News.
"We're at a point now where a lot of what we're doing is really about ensuring the freedom of trade flow through the Strait of Hormuz," he said on Fox News on August 31, referring to the Middle East conflict.
