International issues should be resolved through dialogue among all countries, rather than through the dominance of individual states or a limited group of countries, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping said during his speech at the “SCO Plus” format meeting, APA’s correspondent dispatched to Bishkek reports.
The Chinese leader said that the formation of a multipolar world has already become an irreversible historical process.
“The dominance of a small number of countries in international affairs is a historical injustice. Neither the dominance of one state, nor the joint governance of individual groups of countries, nor bloc politics can be considered genuine multilateralism,” Xi Jinping emphasized.
According to him, international issues should be resolved by the countries of the world through dialogue, while international rules should be developed jointly.
Xi Jinping also noted the importance of strengthening the authority of the UN.
The Chinese leader emphasized the importance of all states having equal rights and opportunities, regardless of whether they are large or small, strong or weak, rich or poor.
He also called for abandoning double standards, the approach of exceptionalism, and interference in the internal affairs of other states.
