Electronic cigarettes and their components have been added to the list of items prohibited from civilian circulation (withdrawn from civilian circulation), APA reports.
The provision is reflected in the amendment to the Law "On the List of Items Prohibited from Civilian Circulation (Withdrawn from Civilian Circulation)," approved by President Ilham Aliyev.
Note that, under Law No. 338-VIIQD of December 30, 2025, amending the Tax Code and the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Tobacco and Tobacco Products," "On Advertising," and "On Restriction of the Use of Tobacco Products," the import, export, production, storage, wholesale and retail sale, and use of electronic cigarettes and their components have been prohibited. Accordingly, the relevant harmonizing amendment has also been made to the Law "On the List of Items Prohibited from Civilian Circulation (Withdrawn from Civilian Circulation)."
