Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei is in good health and remains fully in control of the country, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said in an interview with Fox News, APA reports.
According to Pezeshkian, although the government is responsible for implementing the country’s political course, directives come from the Supreme Leader.
He attributed the fact that Khamenei’s speeches are not broadcast regularly to security concerns arising from threats posed by foreign forces.
The Iranian president also said he met with Khamenei about a month or a month and a half ago, adding that the meeting lasted nearly seven hours.
