“Over 10 years, with the discovery of two new gold deposits, the commissioning of four gold mines and one regional industrial complex, as well as the establishment of new areas of activity, AzerGold CJSC has significantly expanded its extraction, production and revenue opportunities,” Chairman of the Management Board of AzerGold CJSC Zakir Ibrahimov said during a press briefing, APA-Economics reports.
“As a result of the company’s activities during this period, by August of this year, AZN 2.2 billion in revenue was contributed to the country’s economy, while AZN 316.3 million in tax payments was made to the state budget,” the chairman noted.
