Russian Ambassador to France Aleksey Meshkov has been dismissed from his post, APA’s Moscow bureau reports.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to this effect.
Under the decree, Meshkov was recalled from his posts as Russia’s Ambassador to France and, concurrently, to Monaco.
It should be noted that the diplomat had held the post since 2017. Prior to this appointment, Meshkov served as Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister.
